This place is amazing. Service is attentive, welcoming and respectful. They bring what you ask for with a smile. Ambience is nice and classy. But it's the food, meat and the food bar that has so much to choose from that you can't possibly eat everything. But everything is delicious. I love their lamb, cheese balls and chili. But really there isn't anything that isn't delicious. They accommodated our large 50+ party at almost the last minute. Everyone was impressed. We will all be back!

3.5 stars. There are not a lot of churrascarias in the LA area. I think we have been to most of them - Fogo, MGrill, the new H&H. This is the location for the former Green Field (which I heard was so-so), so I was happy to see good reviews and wanted to give this place a try. Compared to the other churrascarias in the LA area, the prices here are VERY reasonable. I'll say that we would come back here based that price alone, and the salad bar. The salad part of the salad bar is fairly typical, nothing to write home about. What we loved was the stroganoff (beef and chicken), the feijoada, and the moqueca. There are not a lot of places around that does a good moqueca, and the moqueca at Rio Picanha was very solid and decent. And the chicken stroganoff is delicious. The feijoada is also solid, with pieces of meat on bone that falls right off and is super tender. The pao de queijo was also very good, very solid. The only thing that was a bit disappointing here was the polenta, which felt kind of hard, dry, and stale. Now for the meats. The meats were ok. The first slice of picanha we got was too rare, although the second round was better (we prefer medium rare). Some of the other meats were a bit too well done for our tastes. Also, the grilled pineapple needed a bit more cinnamon crust on it (it was a bit more watery than I like). Sausage was decent. The hot links, though, are really good. Drinks - we got the classic caipirinha, which was fantastic, and the pineapple one, which was not bad either. Service was ok. I feel like they were preparing for an event or something. We sat for about 5 minutes with no one coming to greet us or take our drink order, so we just got up and helped ourselves to the salad bar, and got drinks later. Also, some of the servers would put the sword tip when serving meats directly on customer plates. That's not sanitary! Best to keep it on its own plate while serving, please! Also, one of the servers did not know what "pao de queijo" was. C'mon! All in all, this is a solid place. And for the price, I think it is totally worth a drive to West Covina. (From April 23, 2019)

Amazing food and service. We never felt like we were being ignored during our time like we have at M Grill, and were asked several times if we wanted a specific cut. If they didn't see us eating it, they'd ask if we received it yet, then would go to the kitchen to check on it. Pictures don't do the interior justice either, it's very modern, sleek, and high end. Food is in my opinion, leagues above fogo de chao. There wasn't a thing we didn't like. Everything was juicy and well seasoned, and the picahna was fantastic. Their website made me think this would be a mom and pop shop, imagine our surprise when we had some of the best Brazilian steakhouse we've ever had, in a modern and contemporary dining room. Staff, food, atmosphere, everything was perfect. I don't typically ever write reviews, but this place really made me feel compelled to share its excellence.
